Methode : Prescriptions of pediatrician was collected then choose one drug of prescription to count the dosage, in this case, only prednison was analysed, is prednison accomplishing with pharmacoterapy dose?. First to count the children dose in month old by using the Fried Formula, then the data is calculated in regression analysis, the regression equation that was achievement, is used to count the sample (prednison in prescription)
Result : The composition of prescription is theofillin, salbutamol and prednison. Usual dose of pednison is 5,0 mg, and maximum dose is 60,0 mg for a day and the dosage administration of the pediatrician according with prescripton is 3,0 mg for single use, for coefecient correlation is (r = 1.00) and the regression equation (Y = 0.05 + 2,49.X). By using data of children in 20 months old, the curve was arranged by comparing the doses of children (X) and months (Y) where months as dependent variable and doses of children as independent variable, presents that the dose for children 20 months old is 8.0 mg. The value of coeficient correlation is ( r = 1.00) it gave a sense that the correlation variable dependent and variable independent is very strong, in this analyasis is to predict, the dose in prescription of pediatrician by using the regression equation (Y = 0,05 + 2,49 . X) in various doses begin with 1,6 mg; 3,0 mg; 5.0 mg; 8,0 mg; the various doses was elected in random but no more excess than the dose for 20 months old. Pediatrician designs prescription intended to cure patients suffering from asthma, correspond to prednison, it will give a good theraphy effect in dose of 5,0 mg for single use (Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia p.426), unfortunately the pediatrician did not give the dose according usual dose, but given under usual dose, 3,0 mg for single dose, The Regression equation is Y = 0,05 + 2,49.X, where Y means months and X meants dose, if there is an increasing the X, it will increasing Y too, so if there is an increasing of X = 1,0 mg it will increasing 2.49 months and if there is an increasing 10,0 mg it will be an increasing 24.90 months, when 3,0 mg, 5,0 mg, 8,0 mg and 9,0 mg they are substituted in regression equation, the result for 3,0 mg will yield Y = 7.52. 5,0 mg will yield 12.52 and 8,0 mg will yield Y = 19.97, it meant the dose 3,0 mg is for children 7.52 months (or 7.5 months) and the dose 5,0 mg is for the children 12.52 months (or 12.5 months) and 8,0 mg is for the children 19.97 months (or 20 months)
By Regression equation, Y = 0,05 + 2,49.X, we get the data (2) :

The data (2) present that accurately dose for children 19.97 months (or 20 months) old is 8,0 mg for single use, mean while the dose that had been given by pediatrician 3,0 mg is only for the children 7,5 months than the dose was suggested 5 mg for single use by Martindale, The Extra Pharmacopoeia, page 426. is for the children 7,5 months(see data (2))

The prescription contained 3 mg prednison for single use, the maximum dose of prednison is 60 mg. On account of dose one tablet of prednison is 5 mg, for this prescription will take 9 tablet prednison to grind

In the Fried Formula, n = month, the result is maximum dose a day in divided dose, for children 20 months it will result 8 mg
Conclusion : The fact that the dose that had given by pediatrician under usual dose, only 3,0 mg, it could be the child may not be recovered. Analysis of pediatrician's prescription by using regression equation could be used for determination the dose that had given by pediatrician, in this case for the drugs which have seriously side effect for the children in month old. Pharmacists (para Apoteker) could consult the pediatrician in order to give the information what really dose should be prescribed, by this way the role of Pharmacists in Apotek who has the authority and expert to, according the UU No. 36 ps. 108, will more existed in pharmacy sevices in Indonesia.
